Last year's Collaboration Award winner was The Gathering Inn.

The Gathering Inn of Roseville received the 2008 Collaboration Award Thursday at a large gathering of Placer County social service groups at The Ridge country club.

About the award:

The Placer Collaborative Network Outstanding Collaboration Award is awarded to any project or human service organization in Placer County that demonstrates outstanding collaboration and contributions in the following areas:

* Over-all community benefit
* Benefits to a priority need population
* Reduction of cost in delivering services
* Reduction in duplication of providing services
* Uniqueness of partners in project (unlikely alliances)
* Building capacity of partners involved with the project
* Ability to stimulate other partnerships and projects
* Unique project design
* Involvement of unique populations in project and/or planning
